The New Hampshire Bio/Medical Council is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Awards Dinner, which will be held October 14, 2010 at the Wentworth-By-The-Sea Country Club in Rye, NH from 5 – 9 P.M. During the evening, the Bio/Medical Council will be giving out three awards:

• NH Bio/Medical Council Business of the Year
• Champion (an individual who has promoted growth of the Bio/Medical industry)
• Up & Coming (a company to watch in the Bio/Medical industry)

The dinner will also honor New Hampshire’s senator, Judd Gregg and his long term support of the life sciences industry by establishing the Judd Gregg New Hampshire Bio/Medical Internship Program. This program is designed to provide summer internships to students or recent graduates who are considering careers in the life sciences industry. The number of interns will vary from year to year depending on demand and funding.

Through this program, the Council hopes to expand the pool of prospective employees for New Hampshire Bio/Medical employers. The Bio/Medical sector is a viable and growing sector of New Hampshire businesses and with the Internship Program, the Council hopes to keep talented graduates here in New Hampshire.
