Previously, he was at Focal Inc., where he managed product and business development activities for the company's proprietary polymer technology in cardiovascular local drug delivery applications.
Mr. Roth's experience includes over 25 years in product development and program management, including 13 years at the USCI Division of C. R. Bard, Inc. Mr. Roth has extensive experience in building teams to develop complex medical devices for the cardiology market including stents, angioplasty, laser energy delivery and atherectomy catheter systems and has 10 issued patents in the field. He earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
